The two protruding pockets of tissue at the corners of the mouth are known as the ‘corners of the mouth pouches’, which are called ‘sheep's cheeks’ or ‘old man's cheeks’. The main manifestation is the appearance of pockets of tissue on both sides of the mouth, mainly fat, also known as buccal fat pads.
